Soccer Game Preview: Galion vs. Clear Fork

Galion is 0-8 against Clear Fork since September of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tigers will head out to face off against the Colts at 7:00 p.m. Galion's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Galion's victory against Sandusky wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers never let the Blue Streaks get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Saturday. Galion haven't had any issues with Sandusky recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Clear Fork got the win against Granville on Saturday by a conclusive 4-0. Give Clear Fork's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Brinley Barnett and Katie Beck scored all four of Clear Fork's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.

Clear Fork's win bumped their record up to 13-1-2. As for Galion, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8-1.

Galion might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Clear Fork in their previous meeting back in August of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
