Football Recap: Desales Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

DeSales had won two straight games and Cohen Wood did his part to make it three on Friday. The Irish took their matchup with ease, bagging a 62-0 victory over the Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles thanks in part to Wood, who threw for 164 yards and five touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. He has been hot recently, having posted five or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played.

DeSales' leading receiver Malachi Raymond was Wood's top target yet again, picking up 40 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Raymond also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble and making one tackle.

DeSales didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Caleb Prchal led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

DeSales' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Yakama Nation Tribal, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, DeSales will challenge Liberty at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers' defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so the Irish's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Yakama Nation Tribal, they will take on Sunnyside Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
