Union Academy won the last time they faced South Stanly and things went their way on Friday too. The Union Academy Cardinals blew past the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls, posting a 69-17 win. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 26 points or more this season.

Ranon Suttle continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8 of 13 to rack up 27 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kayl Starnes, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 12 points.

Union Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Stanly only posted one assist.

The victory made it two in a row for Union Academy and bumps their season record up to 18-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-19 South Stanly and 2-12 Gray Stone Day. As for South Stanly, they dropped their record down to 0-19 with the loss, which was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season.
