You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Troy's strategy against Sayre on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Troy Trojans blew the Sayre Redskins out of the water with a 66-34 final score. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 25 points or more this season.

Several Redskins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nick Pellicano, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 12 points. Ryan Ressler was another key player, putting up eight points.

The victory (which was Troy's sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.7 points. As for Sayre, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-4.

Troy will take on Williamson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Troy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests. As for Sayre, they will challenge North Penn-Mansfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sayre is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.2 points per game this season.
