Baseball Recap: Masterman Comes Up Short

After flying high against Nueva Esperanza two weeks ago, Masterman came back down to earth. The Dragons came up short against the Franklin Towne Warriors on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The Dragons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Masterman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Casela, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Masterman's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Franklin Towne, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Masterman will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Central at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Franklin Towne, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-2 defeat against MAST Community Charter on the 8th.
