Volleyball Game Preview: East Dragons vs. Garfield Rams

The East Dragons will square off against the Garfield Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. East is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

East came up short against Buchtel on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

East was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-21.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Garfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past North 3-2.

Garfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 19-25, 27-25, 25-0, 15-9.

Garfield pushed their record up to 7-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for East, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
