Softball Preview: Providence Day Chargers vs. North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights

The Providence Day Chargers will head out to take on the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Providence Day is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.

Rachel Lyons made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
