Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask King City). They breezed by the Northeast Nodaway Blue Jays to the tune of 70-19 on Monday. This was payback for the Wildkats, who suffered a 57-46 defeat the last time these two teams met.

King City's win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Northeast Nodaway, their loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

King City will host DeKalb at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeast Nodaway, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 69-28 defeat against Worth County on the 10th.
