Softball Recap: Bishop Union Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Bishop Union kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Immanuel Christian Crusaders, falling 17-7.

Immanuel Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Union will venture away from home to take on Lone Pine at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Immanuel Christian, they will square off against Lucerne Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Immanuel Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Lucerne Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
