Volleyball Recap: Pinecrest Prep Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

Pinecrest Prep won the last time they faced Pinecrest Glades Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Crocs' blew past the Dragons 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crocs'.

While Pinecrest Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-16, 25-19.

Leading Pinecrest Prep to victory were Sebastian Villarreal and Brendon Tapiero. Villarreal had 11 digs and one block, while Tapiero had 14 digs. What's more, Villarreal racked up 26 assists, the most he's had since back in March.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinecrest Prep will head out to challenge Mater Brickell Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinecrest Glades Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Downtown Doral at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
