Baseball Recap: Jackson County Comes Up Short

The matchup between Jackson County and North Laurel on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Generals came up short against the Jaguars, falling 15-5. The Generals just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Jackson County now has a losing record of 7-8. As for North Laurel, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Jackson County will face off against Knox Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for North Laurel, they will square off against Madison Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
