Recap: Rosewood Eagles vs. Southside Seahawks
The Rosewood Eagles had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They strolled past Southside with points to spare, taking the game 52-34. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rosewood also won the last time the pair played last Wednesday.
It was another big night for David Lamm, who scored 17 points along with 7 assists and 6 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Rosewood's points. Another player making a difference was Micah Cox, who scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds.
Rosewood's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Southside, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Rosewood will head out on the road to face off against Princeton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southside, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Croatan at 7:30 p.m. Croatan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Southside likes a good challenge.
