Josh Orozco Dazzles in Desert Heights Prep Win

Starting off the list is Desert Heights Prep's Josh Orozco, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Orozco rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 50 receiving yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 85 yards.

If history really does repeat itself, Orozco might just drop another big game when he faces off against Maryvale Prep on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Orozco saw the Matador), he picked up 295 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
