Volleyball Recap: Calumet Christian Comes Up Short

Calumet Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of HomeSchool Resource Center. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against HomeSchool Resource Center this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in April.

Calumet Christian came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-23, 26-24.

Calumet Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for HomeSchool Resource Center, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-15.

Calumet Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Trinity Oaks Christian Academy on the 9th. As for HomeSchool Resource Center, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family on the 6th.
