Volleyball Recap: Bishop Fenwick Takes a Loss

Bishop Fenwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Central Catholic Raiders. If the Crusaders were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Raiders when the teams met back in October of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Bishop Fenwick still got an impressive performance from Emme Lubas, who had nine assists and two aces. Lubas is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Bishop Fenwick's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Central Catholic, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Bishop Fenwick didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Ipswich on the 15th. As for Central Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Billerica Memorial on the 15th.
