Old Lyme never let their opponents score on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Westbrook Knights as they made off with a 16-0 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by nine runs or more this season.

Old Lyme's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Westbrook, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Old Lyme beat Westbrook by a score of 16-0 later that day.
