Baseball Recap: West Orange-Stark Takes a Loss

West Orange-Stark was the 7-3 winner over Evadale when they last played one another back in March of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The West Orange-Stark Mustangs came up short against the Evadale Rebels on Thursday, falling 13-3.

West Orange-Stark saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Robledo, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Larry Starts also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

West Orange-Stark's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Evadale, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

West Orange-Stark has already played their next match, a 10-0 loss against Warren on the 28th. Evadale has also already played their next contest (against Little Cypress-Mauriceville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
