Soccer Recap: Klein Collins Find Success

While Klein Collins's victory against Magnolia wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Klein Collins Tigers had just enough and edged out the Magnolia Bulldogs 4-3 on Tuesday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 335th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Klein Collins hit Magnolia with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jason Guzman (2), Tyler Lee, and Xavier Garza.

Klein Collins' win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Magnolia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Coming up, Klein Collins will be playing in front of their home fans against Klein Cain at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Magnolia, they will head out on the road to challenge Tomball at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
