Volleyball Recap: Mercyhurst Prep Comes Up Short

Mercyhurst Prep was the 3-0 winner over Erie First Christian Academy when they last played one another back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Lakers came up short against Erie First Christian Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-7, 25-17.

Mercyhurst Prep now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Erie First Christian Academy, the win was the seventh in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

After both having extra time off, Mercyhurst Prep and Titusville will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Erie First Christian Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mercer at 7:15 p.m. on September 9.
