Westlake waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Lehi Pioneers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 two weeks ago.

Westlake took Lehi into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 18-25, 21-25, 15-9.

Kilika Tafa paced Westlake's offense, picking up 17 kills. Tafa got some help from Keagan Cundiff and his 32 assists. Finally, Thomas Wood kept Westlake's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Westlake pushed their record up to 17-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lehi, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-4.
