Granby has gone a perfect 10-0 against Maury recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Comets will square off against the Commodores at 7:00 p.m. Granby will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.

Granby is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Nansemond River.

Granby never let Nansemond River on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Maury posted their closest victory since October 4, 2024 on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past King's Fork 3-2.

Maury had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 24-26, 25-19, 25-22, 15-12.

Granby's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Maury, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3.

Granby came out on top in a nail-biter against Maury in their previous matchup last Wednesday, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Commodores have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
