After having lost a blowout in their previous game, Palmdale was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Quartz Hill Royals 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since April 17, 2024.

With the victory, Palmdale broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11. As for Quartz Hill, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Palmdale Falcons duke it out with Knight Hawks at 3:15 p.m. on April 2. Knight has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.8 runs per game on average), something Palmdale will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Quartz Hill, they will square off against New Trier at 8:00 a.m. on Monday.
