Baseball Recap: Rocky River Comes Up Short

Rocky River lost against East Mecklenburg last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rocky River Ravens came up short against the East Mecklenburg Eagles, falling 18-2.

Rocky River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for East Mecklenburg, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rocky River will head out to face off against Berry at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Berry has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.6 runs per game on average), something Rocky River will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for East Mecklenburg, they will square off against Cuthbertson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
