            Softball Recap: Grandview Heights Bobcats vs. Franklin Heights Falcons        
        
		
        
        
            Grandview Heights's game  last Wednesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Thursday. They blew past the Franklin Heights Falcons 27-19. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bobcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous   game.
Grandview Heights let  Ejheni Mdivanian and  Caroline Harwood run wild. Mdivanian  scored five  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in five of her six plate appearances, while  Harwood  scored five  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-6.  Riley Myers was another key player,  going 2-for-5 with three  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 They weren't the only one making solid contact: Grandview Heights  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 22  hits. They  got six more  hits than Franklin Heights' also-impressive total of 16.
The  victory  got Grandview Heights back to even at 1-1. As for Franklin Heights, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Grandview Heights has  already played their next  contest (against Whetstone), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Franklin Heights, they will square off against Harvest Prep at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Falcons are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
