            The Clearfield Bison will head out to  square off against the Elk County Catholic Crusaders  at 2:45  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their  matches after big wins in their previous games.
Clearfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They breezed past Curwensville to the tune of  86-56 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Bison have posted  since January 8th.

 It was another big night for  Braison Patrick, who  dropped  a double-double with 42  points and ten  rebounds. The  contest was  his eighth in a row with at least 17  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ev Maines, who  went 6-for-15  en route to 15 points.
 Meanwhile, Elk County Catholic put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past St. Marys 53-21. Given the Crusaders' advantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings  (they are ranked 111th, while the Flying Dutch are ranked 511th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 The  win made it two in a row for Clearfield and  bumps their season record up to 13-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 74.0 points over those games. As for Elk County Catholic, their victory was  their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 23-0.
