For the second straight game, Guerin Catholic will face off against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard. The Golden Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Guerin Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Guerin Catholic took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Indianapolis Bishop Chatard 7-1. Considering the Golden Eagles have won three games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Tate Troxell looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Guerin Catholic let Nolan Ratcliff and Karson Smith run wild. Ratcliff scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Smith scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base was Ratcliff's first of the season. Ben Canada was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Guerin Catholic's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
