Basketball Recap: Eastside Catholic Piles Up the Points Against Holy Names Academy

Eastside Catholic was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Holy Names Academy on Friday. The Eastside Catholic Crusaders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Holy Names Academy 59-30. This was payback for the Crusaders, who suffered a 53-43 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Eastside Catholic now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Holy Names Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastside Catholic will challenge Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastside Catholic is facing Lincoln at the right time seeing as Lincoln is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Holy Names Academy, they will face off against Garfield at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
