Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Comes Up Short

Faith Christian lost against Dayspring Christian Academy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Faith Christian Warriors came up short against the Dayspring Christian Academy Lions, falling 54-31. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Faith Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Savannah Green almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 14 rebounds. Green has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Glaze, who posted eight points.

Faith Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Faith Christian has already played their next match, a 59-43 loss against Blue Ridge Christian on the 17th. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 30-21 defeat against Grace Christian on the 18th.
