Basketball Recap: Morton Ranch Comes Up Short

Morton Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 73-42 loss at the hands of the Tompkins Falcons. The matchup marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Morton Ranch now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Tompkins, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

Morton Ranch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-57 defeat against Mayde Creek on the 16th. As for Tompkins, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-40 loss against Cinco Ranch on the 16th.
