The biggest upset of the week belonged to Leyden, who took down 284th ranked Addison Trail, 41-20. Aaron Whigham ran for 229 yards during the win.

Whigham of the Eagles ran for the longest rushing play in West Suburban - Gold this season against the Blazers last week.

Willowbrook's dynamic duo of Brian Johnson and Hayden Adams proved tough for York to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Johnson threw for 297 yards and 3 touchdowns and Adams had 190 yards receiving. Devin Childress helped Willowbrook's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 45 yards.

The Warriors' dynamic duo of Johnson and Adams proved to be unstoppable against the Dukes, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Adams was the best wideout in the league this week as Willowbrook defeated York.

Whigham was the best running back in the league this week. Teammate Billy Schuster added to the ground attack by rushing for 134 yards.

He went 19-33 with 0 interception.

Whigham was a force in the backfield as Leyden topped Addison Trail.

Johnson put up the best numbers through the air as Nick Hildreth's team beat the Dukes.

The Warriors' Johnson and Adams have formed a dream team this season, leading West Suburban - Gold in both passing and receiving yards. Johnson has thrown for 958 yards this season, while Adams, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 18 catches for 301 yards. Tom Cerasani's team's Whigham leads the league in rushing yards with 536.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Morton takes on Willowbrook. At the moment, the Mustangs are in third, while the Warriors are in first.

The Eagles moved up to 252 from 299 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Leyden climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Paul Parpet's team 41-20.
