Basketball Recap: Mckinney Boyd Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

McKinney Boyd lost against McKinney back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The McKinney Boyd Broncos received a blow as they fell 70-55 to the McKinney Lions. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Lions are ranked 143rd).

McKinney Boyd's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-9. As for McKinney, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 11-8.

McKinney Boyd and Forney will round out the year against one another at at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for McKinney, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the McKinney Lions face off against the Mansfield Summit Jaguars at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
