Last Tuesday, East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  41-36 to Platte Valley co-op [South Nodaway/Jefferson]. While East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Platte Valley co-op [South Nodaway/Jefferson]  8-2 in the first  quarter.
