Football Recap: Potts Camp Skates Past Thrasher with Ease + How To Watch

After only eight points in their last match, Potts Camp made sure to put some points up on the board against Thrasher on Thursday. The Cardinals blew past the Rebels, posting a 49-12 victory. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.

Jeffrey Curry went supernova, rushing for 256 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Potts Camp was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 478 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Thrasher only rushed for 78 rushing yards.

Despite the defeat, Thrasher saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bryton Roberts picked up 60 receiving yards and one score. Roberts showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 60 yards.

Potts Camp's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Thrasher, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Potts Camp wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 28-14 defeat against Byhalia on the 19th. As for Thrasher, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 54-24 loss against Falkner on the 19th.
