Given the Ironmen's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Tigers are ranked 421st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Springfield Southeast lost to Springfield at home by a 70-53 margin on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Senators: they've now lost six in a row.
