Softball Recap: Sparks Railroaders vs. Hug Hawks
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spring Creek, Sparks was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Hug Hawks by a score of 8-5. The Railroaders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Bailey Hunden was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Those 15 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
