Soccer Recap: Sandwich Comes Up Short

Sandwich entered their contest against Nauset Regional on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Blue Knights came up short against the Warriors, falling 4-1. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Sandwich couldn't quite close it out.

Sandwich suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 2-9-2. As for Nauset Regional, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Sandwich will venture away from home to face off against Monomoy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nauset Regional, they will head out to take on Martha's Vineyard Regional at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
