Football Game Recap: Centerville vs. Ridgewood

Centerville won the last time they faced Ridgewood, and things went their way on Friday, too. Centerville took their game against Ridgewood by a conclusive 31-0 score. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (25) and coasted on those for the victory.

Centerville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but sophomore Morty Frederick led the charge as he rushed for 54 yards and 1 touchdown. The match brought them to 2-0 and dropped Ridgewood to a mirror-image 0-2.

Centerville will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Delcambre. Ridgewood will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against St. Martin's Episcopal in two weeks at 7:00 PM.
