There's no place like home for Minnetonka, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 69-68 win over the Wayzata Trojans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Skippers have posted since March 1, 2025.

Minnetonka has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 18-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points over those games. As for Wayzata, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Minnetonka beat the Trojans by a score of 69-68 later that day.
