Douglas took an eight-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Lakeview, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Honkers on Thursday.

Douglas' victory bumped their record up to 7-3-2. As for Lakeview, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.

As of now, neither Douglas nor the Honkers have any future games scheduled.
