Clifton found their leader in underclassman Scarlett Kennedy, who had nine digs and six aces. Kennedy has been hot recently, having posted four or more digs the last 24 times she's played.
Lorena's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Clifton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a massive bump to their 18-10 record this season.
Lorena will be playing at home against McGregor at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. McGregor will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lorena surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clifton, they will head out on the road to face off against Italy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Clifton is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
