Soccer Game Preview: Monmouth-Roseville vs. Macomb

The Monmouth-Roseville Titans will face off against the Macomb Bombers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Monmouth-Roseville's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over DePue. The result was nothing new for Monmouth-Roseville, who have now won seven contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Macomb was able to grind out a solid win over Jacksonville last Thursday, taking the game 2-0. Kate Stortzum had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Macomb.

Monmouth-Roseville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five games. As for Macomb, they now have a winning record of 6-5-3.
