Football Recap: Life Oak Cliff Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Life Oak Cliff took on Whitesboro on Friday. The Lions fell 29-21 to the Bearcats. The Lions lost against the Bearcats in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 70-22 score last time.

When it comes to explaining why Life Oak Cliff lost, don't look at Sukora ' Sip' Cooper Jr. Despite the final result, he rushed for 24 yards and a pair of scores, and also picked up 61 receiving yards. Arthur Washington also helped out with an impressive 106 receiving yards.

Justin Knight went supernova For Whitesboro., rushing for 197 yards and two TDs. With that strong performance, Knight is now averaging an impressive 107 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Colt Fagan, who threw for 122 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 91.7% of his passes.

This is the second loss in a row for Life Oak Cliff and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Whitesboro, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Life Oak Cliff and Whitesboro will both be playing Madison the next time they take the field. The Bearcats will host the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 16th.
