With a playoff win on the line, Lake Highland Prep rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Academy of the Holy Names Jaguars 4-0. The Highlanders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Academy of the Holy Names with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lael Hill, Rory Brown, Catherine DeSena, and Lara Almeida.

Lake Highland Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which somehow still isn't as good as their 13-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven games. As for Academy of the Holy Names, their loss dropped their record down to 13-3.

Looking ahead, Lake Highland Prep will square off against Montverde Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Highland Prep's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Montverde Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. Academy of the Holy Names does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
