Volleyball Recap: West Cabarrus Takes a Loss

After flying high against Olympic on Tuesday, West Cabarrus came back down to earth. The Wolverines lost 3-0 to the Cox Mill Chargers on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-9, 25-11.

West Cabarrus' defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for Cox Mill, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Cabarrus will face off against rival Central Cabarrus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cox Mill is set to challenge their familiar foe A.L. Brown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
