Marlette's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Harbor Beach, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Everything came up roses for Harbor Beach against Marlette in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 56-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
