Soccer Recap: Irvington Comes Up Short

Irvington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the American Eagles, falling 4-1. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Irvington struggled afterwards.

Irvington's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for American, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Irvington will challenge rival Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, American is set to square off against their familiar foe Mission San Jose at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
