            Basketball Recap: Dora Bulldogs vs. Fultondale Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Dora had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They escaped with a win against the Fultondale Wildcats by the margin of a single free throw,  45-44. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played  back in February.

 Dora's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Bella Reese, who  dropped  a double-double on 21  points and 11  boards. The  game was  Reese's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Ja'Laya Harris, who  posted ten  points in addition to seven  boards and three  steals.
Dora's victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.2 points. As for Fultondale, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost nine of their last ten contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dora won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Corner  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Dora is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51  points per game  this season. As for Fultondale, they will host Pinson Valley  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
