Volleyball Game Preview: Richmond Red Devils vs. Greenfield-Central Cougars

The Richmond Red Devils will square off against the Greenfield-Central Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Richmond is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Lafayette Jefferson just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Bronchos.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Greenfield-Central faced off against Triton Central on Thursday. The Cougars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Greenfield-Central's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Richmond, their loss dropped their record down to 10-18.

Richmond came up short against Greenfield-Central in their previous matchup back in August, falling 3-1. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
