Volleyball Recap: St. John-Endicott Wins Going Away Against Colton

St. John-Endicott lost to Colton back in October of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Eagles blew past the Wildcats 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

St. John-Endicott's got stronger as the match went on, holding Colton to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-14.

Lily Barlass paced St. John-Endicott's offense, picking up eight kills. Barlass got some help from Sophie Anderson and her 35 assists. Anderson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The win got St. John-Endicott back to even at 2-2. As for Colton, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John-Endicott will venture away from home to face off against Upper Columbia Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Colton, they will square off against Garfield-Palouse at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
