Palisades has gone a perfect 10-0 against Saucon Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pirates will square off against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Palisades made easy work of Salisbury Township and carried off an 11-1 win. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by ten runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Saucon Valley hadn't done well against Southern Lehigh recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Panthers walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Spartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Matty Seyfried spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Savannah Schlegel was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to triples, as she's now hit at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Kaylie Scorce (SO) was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Palisades' record now sits at 8-9. As for Saucon Valley, their record is now 10-7.

Palisades beat Saucon Valley 10-6 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
